前言 Preface
繼《英譯唐詩三百首》之後，接著英譯宋詞選集以持續翻譯之趣。
如前，《英譯宋詞三百首》源自興趣，其英譯及编辑終是受愚才之限。雖有心致力於時時複審，力求無誤，但仍恐不能避免瑕疵缺憾，因此誠望讀者海涵。
Following the completion of English Translation of 310 Song Poems, I continued with this pursuit by translating an anthology of Song poems.
Similarly, English Translation of 310 Song Poems is the result of an avocation, the translation into English and its editing are after all limited by my abilities. Although I endeavour to provide regular revisions and to strive for an outcome without errors, there remains fear that inevitable are imperfection and shortcomings, I therefore sincerely
wish for readers’ magnanimous tolerance.
